Instructions
Peel and core pears.
Cook oil/fat together with sweetener over low-medium heat in a flat-bottomed pan. When mixture begins to simmer/bubble, add pears.
Cook for 10-15 minutes, until pears are caramelized on bottom (watch mixture carefully to make sure it doesn't burn/stick, may need to stir every so often).
Plate pears and garnish with pomegranate seeds, crème anglaise, mint, and/or ice cream/extra caramel sauce from pan. Serve warm.
